York Wetherill began working for Poston Community Management in February 2025. He was previously employed at a prestigious Golf Resort on Kiawah Island. York spent 7 years in property management at Kiawah and maintains his property management license. He also brings over 20 years of Hospitality Management experience.
York grew up in North Carolina where he split his time between Wrightsville Beach and Boone. After graduating from Appalachian State University in 2013 with a bachelor’s degree in Sociology and a minor in Business Administration, York helped to open several restaurants in Boone before moving to Charleston with his wife in 2017.
In his free time, he enjoys playing soccer, shooting pool, and spending time with his wife and daughter along with their two pups.
